Santa

This year's attempt to sit on Santa's lap was just as successful as our attempt last year. Instead of seeing Santa or sitting on his lap, Casey wanted to ride on the train that decorates the area around Santa.

Matt did get a picture of Casey sitting next to Santa at the annual CDC Breakfast with Santa last week.

Casey is making cinnamon ornaments for a holiday project. I was not allowed to leave until I watched him make one.

Yesterday we went to Jacob & Joshua's birthday party. Jacob is turning 3, Joshua is turning 1. They very much enjoyed their cupcakes.

Casey kept the hat on for slightly more than 30 seconds. He was VERy excited to sing Happy Birthday, clapped, and then licked some icing off a cupcake before moving on to ice cream cake.

Casey got a puppy at Lowe's today. It sings/woofs Jingle Bells. He fed the dog "bones" yesterday, but the puppy only likes car bones. He LOVES this puppy. Yesterday it was named "it's a puppy, a doggy". Today it's Jingle Puppy.

Casey got Spiderman slippers at Target today. He went to bed wearing them.

Casey wouldn't put his dog costume on to go Trick or Treating. He's lucky he's little & cute, because when he gets older that won't fly. He spent some time with Kaleigh, who was a baseball player. Caroline was visiting from NC & she was a skunk.

Casey needed a bedtime snack. He found cheddar cheese and whipped cream.

Injury Report

So last week Casey scraped his toe while running outside during water
play. It was the top of his big toe, so nothing serious. Well, a band-
aid was applied, and if visible, rendered him incapable of walking. He
needed to be carried "like dis", which meant stretched out across both
arms with his feet elevated. If he wore miracle socks, he could get
around just fine. Despite insisting that he wear socks in the shower
to protect his injury, he ran around barefoot on Friday, outside, for
waterplay when this happened -
