We went for 1 1/2 hour walk today in an attempt to get Casey to nap. Instead of sleeping he opted to talk pretty much the whole time. It was International Talk Like A Pirate Day today. Casey wore his Baby Pirate ensemble to celebrate. It's the last time he'll be wearing it, as it's getting slightly too small because he's growing so much.

Casey is 5 months old today. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I also can't believe how big Casey is now...or how tiny he was when he was born. To celebrate we had a party for him. Ok, really we went to my Aunt Lorry's 65th Surprise Party. Matt stayed home to try to recuperate from his illness.
Here's Casey with Jason.
Here's the best picture I got of the family.

This is Linda. Casey LOVED her.
Here Casey is sporting a party hat.
Somehow Aunt Cristen lopped the tops of our heads off.

These were taken post bath.

Casey spent the day with Grandma (Z). It was my first day back at work and therefore I was supposed to be working, but spent a good part of my time fretting that the boy was causing trouble or wailing. As I should have expected, Casey was excellent and all of us made it through the day unscathed. Tomorrow he will be with his dad, so I expect to find out about the trouble Matt causes when I get home.

Casey sported his sunglasses from Susie and Nicole today. They fit much better now than they did the first time they met our boy.
Sadly, the ladies didn't get to see Casey wearing them because they were forgotten on the coffee table when we went to go serenade Susie with a birthday melody. Casey did not sing when the rest of the guests did, he serenaded her with shrieks and wails when he started getting tired. I think Suz enjoyed his serenade best though. :)
